Cybersecurity

What an assessment covers, what you get back and how the fixes get done.

A conceptual view of a security assessment within an explicitly authorized scope.

When it fits

An assessment shows you where the systems you run are open, and which openings deserve attention first. It starts with what you use, what information it holds and what the business depends on.

Testing needs permission. A website address in an inquiry does not authorize us to test it, and you can only authorize testing on systems you control.

What can be in scope

A focused assessment
We test the systems you authorize, inside a written scope, and look for what is open.
Findings you can use
What we found, why it matters and what to fix first, in plain order.
Help with the fixes
We scope the fixes, make them and check they hold. Then we agree what ongoing cover makes sense for you.

What to bring

The systems in question
The websites, applications or infrastructure you want looked at, and who is responsible for each.
The reason for the review
A release coming up, a configuration you are unsure of, a weakness you already know about or a wider look at the operation.
The authorization boundary
Who can approve the work. Access, targets, methods and limits are all agreed in writing before any testing begins.

Decisions worth making early

Scope before activity
Which systems are in, which are out, what we are allowed to do and who we call if something unexpected turns up.
Findings in context
Each finding names the system, the problem and why it matters. Priority follows real exposure and what it would cost the business.
Remediation and verification
Who fixes what, and how the fix gets checked. The assessment and the fixes are two separate pieces of work.

How we check the work

An assessment covers the scope we agreed. It is not a certificate, and it cannot promise that nothing was missed or that an incident will never happen. You get its limits, its findings and our view on ongoing cover in plain terms.

Security belongs at the start of a website, an app, a software build or an AI workflow, not only at the end. We build it in from the first day or assess a system already running.
