Terms of service
Last updated: 22 July 2026
These terms govern your use of caduceus.inc and the way an engagement with Caduceus begins. They are written to be read: plain language, no traps, and nothing here overrides what we agree with you in writing for an actual engagement.
Who we are
Caduceus is operated by Damax LLC (“Caduceus”, “we”, “us”). By using this site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the site.
What this site is
The site describes our services and offers one action: the audit intake. Submitting the intake starts a conversation. It does not create an engagement, and it costs nothing.
The audit and the diagnosis that follows are free of charge and free of obligation. The finding is yours whether or not you build with us. We are not obliged to accept every intake, and we say so plainly when we are not the right fit.
Engagements
Actual work, whether a build, a marketing engagement, stewardship, or a security assessment, is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, price, timeline, and ownership. Where anything in these terms conflicts with a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement wins.
Every build is scoped against a number agreed before anything starts. Deliverables are owned by the client on the terms of the engagement agreement: the code, the data, the accounts, the documentation.
The cybersecurity service
Security testing is performed only against systems the client owns or is authorised to permit testing on, and only under a signed scope and written authorisation agreed before any testing begins. We do not test systems outside that scope, and nothing on this site is an offer to access, test, or interfere with systems without the owner's permission. Findings are held in confidence and disclosed to the client.
Using the site
Use the site as a site. Do not:
- Probe, scan, or disrupt it, or attempt to access systems behind it.
- Submit intakes that are fraudulent, automated, or abusive.
- Misrepresent who you are or who you act for.
Content and ownership
The site’s content belongs to Caduceus: its copy, design, marks, and code. Cited figures belong to their named sources and link to them. You may read, share, and quote the site with attribution; you may not pass it off as your own or use our marks to imply endorsement.
No professional advice
The site’s content is information, not professional advice. Benchmarks cited from third parties are theirs, dated, and linked; they describe markets, not your business. A diagnosis becomes advice about your operation only inside an engagement.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Caduceus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, and our total liability in connection with the site is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Liability inside an engagement is addressed in the engagement agreement, not here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Damax LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go first to a good-faith conversation; failing that, to the courts of that jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of it.
